Measurement without displacement of the force application point
Thanks to a special force transmission system, the mechanical calibration device No. 7791 prevents displacement of the force application point during the calibration process.
Driven by a handwheel, the lever mounted under the test rail moves linearly via a spindle.
The linear motion is converted into rotational motion, which acts on the transducer.
The torque wrench intended for calibration remains in a fixed position throughout the entire calibration process.
This prevents measurement errors resulting from a shift in the point of force application.
The torque wrench is automatically aligned horizontally using a low-friction ball bushing.
An additional ball bushing provides frictionless support for the torque wrench.
The resulting reduction in lateral forces acting on the transducer and friction on the torque wrench support leads to a reduction in measurement errors.
